Your memory matters.

Help preserve the experiences that shaped Indianapolis arts. We are preparing a secure participant intake process to collect leads before interviews and archival materials are considered for publication.

Submissions are not yet open. This preview intentionally does not collect personal information, files or recorded statements. Secure forms will be activated after privacy review and HighLevel integration.

Planned memory form — preview only

The actual form will have informed consent, contact/privacy information, spam controls and a secure submission destination.

Before sharing media

Respecting artists and archives

Owning a physical photograph or recording does not always mean owning the copyright. We'll ask for creator information, approximate dates and the appropriate rights holder before using archival works. Participation is voluntary, and no submitted contribution automatically guarantees inclusion in the film.

For the initial pilot, our priority research circles include Broad Ripple High School, Indiana State University's Ebony Majestic Choir, Sounds of Aquarius and Jones Tabernacle A.M.E. Zion Church.
