Every legend has a legacy.
An original documentary series preserving the stories of artists, educators and cultural visionaries who shaped Indianapolis — and helped others discover who they could become.
The stories behind the city.
What if we measured artistic achievement not simply by accolades or public recognition, but by influence? By the student who kept going. By the community ensemble that found its voice. By the opportunities a mentor created for someone else.
Through carefully researched profiles, intimate interviews, performances and community archives, Indy Arts Legacy will preserve cultural knowledge for the next generation.
Documentary working title. Series and featured episode are in preproduction.
Authorized portraits and archival images to be added after permissions
More than the music.
An intimate portrait in development, examining an Indianapolis teacher and choir leader’s influence across classrooms, ensembles, faith communities and generations of aspiring artists.
The film will combine the subject’s firsthand testimony with documented records and stories from the people he influenced.
